Galvanizing Process

1. Surface Preparation
Degreasing and removal of oil, dirt and contaminants.

2. Pickling
Remove rust and mill scale in acid solution.

3. Rinsing
Thorough rinsing with clean water.

4. Fluxing
Immerse in flux solution to improve coating adhesion.

5. Galvanizing
Hot dip in molten zinc bath (≈450°C).

6. Cooling
Cooling in water or air to form zinc layer.

7. Inspection
Inspection and testing before packing.
Galvanizing Standards
- ISO 1461: Hot dip galvanized coatings on fabricated iron and steel articles.
- ASTM A123 / A123M: Standard Specification for Zinc (Hot-Dip Galvanized) Coatings on Iron and Steel Products.
- EN ISO 1461: Hot dip galvanized coatings on fabricated steel articles.
- GB/T 13912: Hot dip galvanized coatings on steel articles.
- Other standards and special requirements are available upon request.
