Galvanizing Process

Surface preparation before galvanizing

1. Surface Preparation

Degreasing and removal of oil, dirt and contaminants.

Steel components in the pickling bath

2. Pickling

Remove rust and mill scale in acid solution.

Rinsing galvanized components

3. Rinsing

Thorough rinsing with clean water.

Steel components in flux solution

4. Fluxing

Immerse in flux solution to improve coating adhesion.

Hot dip galvanizing process

5. Galvanizing

Hot dip in molten zinc bath (≈450°C).

Cooling galvanized components

6. Cooling

Cooling in water or air to form zinc layer.

7. Inspection

Inspection and testing before packing.
